Level 3 Apprenticeship – Senior Equine Groom (Standard)

Apprenticeships are an excellent alternative to a full-time college course. They offer an exciting way to earn and learn and the potential to gain an academic award.

Apprentices are employed and receive a wage. Apprentices have an individual training plan that suits their needs and the requirements of their job role. Training is delivered in partnership with employers. Each apprentice has their own dedicated work-based tutor who visits the apprentice at work to undertake training and to provide any additional support.

Duration: 18 – 24 months. Flexible start dates

Level: The Level 3 Apprenticeship is equivalent to two A-Level passes

Entry Requirements: Age 16+. Applicants must be working more than 25 hours per week in a practical equine discipline. Extensive experience of working with horses is required at a senior level. Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE at grade 4 or above in Maths and English. Before enrolment, applicants must be employed.
